Out of 27 investment projects which are being realized in Atyrau oblast 20 have already been put into practice. Manufacture of 35 new kinds of products has been developed. Akim of the oblast Aslan Musin informed of these results 26 February reporting the oblast on the work fulfilled during the expired year. According to Aslan Musin, the state budget and the national oil fund received more than KZT 252,5 mln which amount to more than 20% of the state income. As a part of the Program of Industrial and Innovative Development a regional scientific technical council was set up. A business-incubator where 15 projects are being implemented has also been launched in the oblast. Clusters of construction industry, fishery economy, petrochemistry and regional technical stock are being created in the region. The number of employees in small and medium business grew by 50 percent. As a result tax allowances have been increased threefold.
In 2004 306, 000 square meters of housing were ready to move in.
