Kazinform'un haberine göre Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik bakanı GATE'nin Atırau Rafinerisi Yenilenmesi Projesinde çıkan olaylarının uluslararası nitelik taşımadığını belirtmiş.

The incident in Atyrau this February in GATE Company, Turkey, is outside the framework of international relationship, Gulzhana Karagussova, Labor and Social Protection Minister, has stated today at the briefing. According to her 'the brawl was caused by interpersonal relations. There is violence of neither labor laws nor human rights.

The incident took place in GATE, in charge for construction and assembling operations under Atyrau Refinery Project. The mass fight was preceded by a collision on the eve when the three Turkish workers beat one local and broke his head with a steel pipe. February 22 morning the local workers avenged for their fellow and initiated a protest action in GATE's village which continued as a fight. Nearly 150 local and up to 300 Turkish workers participated in the
incident. They kicked each other with pieces of reinforcing steel and shot bricks. One Kazakhstani and three Turkish men suffered, including some motor vehicles. Company administration called for police.
